vNOTES Academy is an organisation dedicated to training, education, development and accreditation in the field of Transvaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery (vNOTES) in Gynecology.
vNOTES Academy has been recognized and accredited by International NOTES Society (iNOTESs) to conduct focused training courses in India. vNOTES academy conducts iNOTESs recognized structured and systematic courses in India.
vNOTES Course
The vNOTES certification by iNOTESs will be offered after successful completion of following steps-
STEP 1- Theory Course
Prior to attending a practical course, delegates must master the theory of vNOTES. This way more focus can be directed towards practical training during the hands-on course. To attend theory course, Link https://bit.ly/vNOTES_DISSECT
STEP 2 - Practical Course
Hands-on practical course. After completion of theory course and satisfying eligibility criteria, log in to www.vnotesacademy.in and register for Hands-on practical course in vNOTES.
It consists of three parts-
Part 1: Review of vNOTES theory.
Part 2: Hands-on training on the vNOTES endotrainer (basic exercises + vNOTES procedures)
Part 3: Live surgeries. In OR experience + scrubbing in for vNOTES procedures.
STEP 3 - Trained Surgeon
Trained surgeon should perform his/ her first (very easy) few cases within the first 3 weeks after practical course. Proctorship will be offered.
STEP 4 - Document Submission
Trained surgeon must submit his/ her first 10 cases in international vNOTES complication database on www.notesurgery.org.
STEP 5 - Course Certification
Submit an unedited video of the 10th case to a vNOTES expert for review and feedback. Subsequently, receive the final certification.

Founder and Director
Dr. Suyash Naval is a leading vNOTES expert in India. He is the founder of the first dedicated vNOTES centre in India (Lifescope NOTES Centre, Jalgaon). His experience in several advanced laparoscopic surgeries has allowed him to develop vNOTES in India.
He is a vNOTES teacher recognized by International NOTES Society. He has conducted several workshops on vNOTES and has published several research papers in this field. He is committed to teaching and training of vNOTES to Gynecologists.
Prof. Dr. Jan Baekelandt

Advisor
He is gynecological oncologist at Imelda Hospital, Bonheiden, Belgium. He introduced vNOTES in Europe, developed the technique of Total Vaginal NOTES Hysterectomy and was first to perform transvaginal robotic surgery.
He has a large series of vNOTES procedures and has made several publications in this field. He is an expert member and President of International NOTES Society.

Who should attend vNOTES training course?
Gynecologists who satisfy following conditions can apply for vNOTES training course-
1. Trained in laparoscopic gynecological surgery.
2. Regularly performing laparoscopic surgery.
3. Trained in vaginal surgery.
4. Have experience of more than 100 laparoscopic hysterectomies.
5. Have experience of more than 25 vaginal hysterectomies.
